The River Thames at Lots Ait
Brentford
Watercolour
20x16 inc mount
In the past the river here was extremely busy. Nearby is the first place the Romans could wade the Thames, a wharf for landing coal for the gas and coke works, and the at Brentford Docks unloading ships to transfer cargo onto the trains and canal barges.
Now the view can be enjoyed with a drink from the terrace of the Watermans Art Centre
